Domenico Scalisi nasce a Catania, nella sua amata Sicilia, nel 1986.
Sin da bambino la creatività è stata la sua più grande passione.
Oggi si occupa di illustrazione e modellazione, “scarabocchia” con pastelli, acquerelli
ed espone le proprie opere in vari eventi.
Ispirato dalla poetica Pop Surrealista ha dato vita a centinaia di personaggi Cute-Creepy,
apprezzatissimi da molti collezionisti e amanti del genere.
Ha esposto in spazi museali come
l’Edgar Allan Poe Museum (Richmond, Virginia) e gallerie d’arte come la ROTOFUGI GALLERY (Chigago),
la CLUTTER GALLERY (Beacon, New York) la prestigiosa BEINART GALLERY (Australia)
e tantissime altre.
E’ stato intervistato dalla famosissima rivista di Arte Contemporanea
BEAUTIFUL BIZZARRE MAGAZINE.
Nel 2017 pubblica il suo primo libro illustrato
“IL DIARIO DI VICTOR FRANKENSTEIN”
grazie alla casa editrice Bakemono Lab.

Domenico Scalisi was born in Catania, in his beloved Sicily (Italy), in 1986.
Since childhood, creativity has been his greatest passion.
Today he deals with illustration and modeling, "scribbles" with crayons, watercolors
and exhibits their works in various events.
Inspired by Pop Surrealism aesthetic, he has given birth to hundreds of Cute-Creepy characters,
highly appreciated by many collectors and lovers of the genre.
He has exhibited in museum spaces such as
